Review| Garnier BB cream

Friday 29 March 2013  at 5:39 pm

Evening Lovelies!

I'm almost 85% sure most of you have tried Garnier's BB cream, if you haven't I'm glad you've stumbled upon my review *smiles* It was launched down here sometime at the end of last year, so I've been sitting on this for a while. Let's get down to the logistics of everything, I have combination type skin which isn't prone to acne (weird, right?) I know most people have combination skin that's acne prone, but I tend to not break out. If I do break out it'll be one pimple which dries out in about 2-3 weeks and it's extremely sensitive to perfume in products.

Haul| Girls Generation, Shinee, Super Junior & 2PM

Saturday 23 March 2013  at 1:12 pm
Afternoon Lovelies!

To be honest with you, I can't quite remember if I received today's haul on my birthday or for Christmas. So, it will now be known from here on out as the birthday/Christmas haul! Like all the previous hauls that I've received from le boyfriend, he buys most of my gifts when he goes back to China because there's no kpop down here where I live *such a sad life* So, I hope you'll enjoy today's haul! If you're interested in seeing the previous haul that I received from my boyfriend just click here!

Disc one and two both look the same, that's why I haven't included a picture of disc two here.

Love this girl!

To be honest I haven't listened to the Shinee, 2PM and Super Junior CD's yet because I haven't had time to. But, when I was watching Girls Generation first Asia Tour, I never realized how exhausted and tiring the entire process of performing is! Think of it as a naive thought, but when they're on MV's they're cool calm and collected (obviously) but on stage, you can see that they struggle a bit with singing and dancing (I mean who wouldn't) and the slow progression of exhaustion settle in on their faces. No doubt, I need to find time to watch the rest!

Till we meet again!
Bye Bye!

Evening Lovelies!

I'm finally on my study break! I was really, really looking forward to my study break, but as lecturers have to be. I'm bombarded with assignments that I have to finish before the study break ends and tests to study for *sigh*  Do you want know what's the worst part? My study break is only a week long! give me strength! But on the brighter side, it's le boyfriends graduation next week, so I'm really looking forward to that, even though I have no idea what I'm going to wear to the graduation!

So, instead of uploading another nail art post, I thought I'd break it up with a haul, everyone loves a good haul right? I hope this will serve as some eye candy to all you lovely followers! And to the new followers, I'm glad you find my blog interesting enough to follow!

Forever New

Excuse this wrinkled mess, that is my skirt. It was sprawled across my chair and somehow got wrinkled (I did not sit on it). I just have this tendency to leave clothes on my chair and end up wearing it only months after I've bought it!

Nail Art| Turquoise gradient

Sunday 10 March 2013  at 12:47 pm
Afternoon Lovelies!

I just thought that before I head out and collect my study table, I'll upload my fail attempt at a gradient. For some reason I never saw the value in using a paintbrush and melding the colours together on a make-up sponge to create the perfect gradient. But, I'm sure as you will see in the pictures to follow, why a paintbrush and colours that meld together should be used. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this post!

Evening Lovelies!

Gosh, I just got home now, it's currently 19:26pm down here and I am pooped! I'm so exhausted! I honestly feel so guilty because I haven't been updating frequently! I feel just as guilty when I decide to fall asleep and not study, that same guilt! I have a mini haul tonight, so I hope you enjoy!

Bought these at Jay Jays

I originally bought this in a size 10 and thankfully managed to swop it for a size 6!

Another short post and I do apologise, but you have no idea how hectic uni can get!

Openings|TopShop SA

Saturday 2 March 2013  at 10:11 pm
Evening Lovelies!

I wanted to blog about this when TopShop was launched here in SA but never had the time to. TopShop and TopMan...they're the same shop (anyway) was launched last year sometime in November. Need I say that I'm impressed with the quality of clothing they have to offer. Fashion doesn't sell me over quality does. So, when I go shopping I always look at the quality of clothing I'm going to buy. It's pricey...a cropped top is about 99zar::$10.92 which is super pricey for me considering you're paying for half a top. I don't have any pictures of the launch or what it looks like, unfortunately, but I'lll upload some of the pieces I bought from TopShop. Hope you enjoy!

I'm sorry if this post feels a little bit disjointed...I've just been really busy lately and my mind is stuck on need to get into honours, need to get into honours. So until that mantra is out of my head I'll be MIA for a while.

Till we meet again!
